Description of Facelifts & Necklifts
What are Facelifts?
Facelifts involve the correction of the mid and lower facial changes, including the improvement of jowls, the jawline and the surface changes that aging causes.
Necklifts are usually performed at the same time as a facelift. However, in some patients, isolated facelifts may be performed.
Details of the incisions, the elevation and tightening of the facial tissues, and associated surgical approaches will be discussed.
The surgical approach to facelifts involves pre auricular and post auricular incisions.
